I'm currently a Cyber Security Engineer at a local Cyber security firm in Malaysia. Every day, I will learn how to perform certain assessments and improve the ones I have already learned. I have learned how to do penetration testing on Web apps, mobile apps, web APIs, source code analysis, and many more. I wouldn't say I'm an expert in doing them, but I make sure I improve them every day, even if it's just for a little bit.
I majored in network security during my studies at University. During my journey in learning programming and cyber security,
I created some web and desktop applications and terminal tools to help me solve some of the problems I encountered. Some of them are featured here, but most of them can be found on my Github profile.
For the moment, I'm working on a full stack project that resolves in music streaming services. I will open source the code once I'm finished with the initial version, I don't plan to host it as music copyrights are a hell to manage. The goal of the project was to learn more about building a whole application from the ground up and how components communicate with each others.
On the Cyber security side, I'm currently sharpening my craft in TryHackMe
to learn Ethical Hacking and how malware works by reading the Practical Malware Analysis book. I have also started to play abit of HackTheBox to diversify the type of vulnerabilities and scenario in pentesting that I'll be exposed with.
I also have a youtube channel to demonstrate the projects I've worked on.
